How could I have suggested that every day is the same here at Shenington. Today the organisers found yet another way to amuse us. A hurried briefing at 15:05 as some good gliding weather found us was followed by manic rigging and towing to the launch point at the far end of the field. Then the sniffer was dragged into the sky. Our prayers ensured that both glider pilot and tuggie survived the 20kt crosswind. And then we scrubbed. Barbecue tonight!
