After struggling to get away from the airfield, Paul Gentil managed to enter the first assigned area, got halfway between Edgehill and Silverstone, and then landed back at Edgehill. He is now 17th overall (in front of a host of LSs, Discuses/Disci and a Ventus 2cx) and first in class (wooden gliders). Not a bad day.
