June 17 - Sparkling Sunday

A day of discovery. First we found some polish and a bucket of water. Then 2 K8s and a shiny new Astir were found under mounds of dust. And after we took them to the launch point together with two shiny new PW6s (thanks Barry) we discovered some thermals to fly in. The day was only good enough for local soaring so Doug Gardner defied the elements to fly the club 100k and almost won. A safe field landing and a short retrieve by Paul Gentil followed. And the rain stayed away until we finished.
