Monday 19 March

It could have been a day wasted, wondering why soarable conditions only occur when there is no gliding. But, thanks to our new CFI Mike Weston and plenty of volunteers, we instead had a fun day of strong lift to 4000' and big sink. With four club two seaters, the Astir and a number of private gliders flying we had 8 one-hour-plus flights, including a trip round Brize zone for Ken in his Ash. Is this the start of a great soaring season?
