Remember ... remember. Well, pre-bonfire, the wind was NW about 15 to 20 kts giving us 1700 to 1800 feet on launches from the south end. Both K13s and a PW6 were busy all day with training, check flights and a trio of Trial Lesson flights. A bit chilly in the wind but probably just a sample of the weather to come. Some extended flights early in the day had us wondering if there was weak wave about. Some of the cloud formations kind of looked that way as well. If any single seaters had been out, a dash to the ridge may have been on the cards. Who knows!
