Rasp wasn't convinced that we were in for a good day but it was, thermic from early on with good thermals to 3500' until about 5PM. The Ash disappeared somewhere after a false start and other private owners went off soaring,Tony Chapman reporting 6 knot averages in places. For a change the course had a good day and some of the Wednesday flyers enjoyed some soaring flights. Supposed to be quite good tomorrow as well.,
