A Further Update from Pocklington

We woke on Wednesday to see a very damp and misty airfield but the tannoy said "grid before briefing" so we did. The sky cleared, the grid launched and Tony and Chris in the Duo did very well being only one of only two gliders to complete the longest task and won the day. The DG with Felix and Richard also had a good day, completing the 252Km task. Thursday was again a damp morning with a promise of a clearance in the afternoon. We launched around 1330 and although it looked a good sky the conditions were challenging but the Duo with Chris and Mike completed the longest task and John Bellamy and Richard had a run out to Newark and back. The Duo is currently placed first in class and second overall. Today looks like a scrub unfortunately.
