A cloudy start so the day started with a review of the aerotow day and a briefing on GPS and loggers, the requirements for badge claims and the software programs for analysing the logger traces. The simulator was then put to good use and the sky brightened around one o'clock, still with a brisk south westerly so the course was restricted to local flying. Kevin Russell converted to the Astir and following a couple of circuits enjoyed himself by managing to keep it airborne for a longer flight.
