Five members after a briefing and discussion on circuits and field landings practiced their skills by landing on more unusual areas of the airfield. The 25 knot southerly made life interesting though and the approaches were quite challenging, as a few members (and the instructors) found out! It was very thermic later on with good strong climbs to cloudbase so the course had a good day.
