4 knot thermals, 10 knots sink, broken tight cores, 25 knots of wind. Sound like fun? For a small band of folk, one PW6, the Astir and the Duo-Discus it certainly was! Cloudbase was around 3000' but only the Duo got there. The rest of us just got blown downwind. (We all made it back though) Packed up at 3 pm as we'd all flown and the wind strength was increasing. Hope for more character-building conditions tomorrow.
