Monday 25th Apl

Forecast was for modest thermal activity to about 3000'ASL with an inversion causing spreadout/blue. As per the last few soarable days it turned out better than that with cloudbases localy about 3500 above site at the end of the day. The blue skies brought out a good number of private gliders, which for the most part took a launch and dissappeared. This was the first day of the summer courses and Mike Randle had a busy day flying with the course pupils in one PW6 while the K13 and other PW did some add-hoc instruction. Welcome to the various visitors from other clubs, especially the white K13 which had declared AD as a goal for the last day of Shennington's task week.
