Saturday 19th Feb was a day that made you lose your faith in weather forecasting. It promised an improvement mid-day but at 14.00 hours, with no signs of a flyable cloud base, Brian Birlison made the executive decision to scrub. Full marks to the Blue Charlie team, who either turned up or waited at the starting blocks for a quick trip to AD. Kevin Russell did a sterling job checking out and refuelling vehicles, emptying the diesel tank and added to our joint knowledge of lubricant types!!
