Wednesday fun in the workshop ...

Cast your mind back to those puzzles with lots of plastic tiles to be re-arranged to form a pattern, one tile being left out so that the others can all be slid about? Well picture this on a slightly grander scale in the workshop as K8 and Astir fuselages, wings, tailplanes, etc., were rearranged to prepare for tomorrow's initial inspection on the UWE K7 by an enthusiastic team of students. Thanks to Richard Kill, as well as Bill Alden and David Johns from the Wednesday flyers, who assisted by pushing, lifting, sliding and casting the usual pearls of wisdom.

Alas, the inclement weather precluded actual flying, but the simulator got some good use by four UWE students. These guys demonstrated a labrador-like level of optimism that should definitely be applauded. They blithely ignored the BBC's spot-on forecast, the evident fog on the webcam and the collective tooth-sucking and negativity of various CGC members to trek their way up from Bristol ... bravo!

Anyway, some useful work got done and it was a pleasant way to spend the morning.
