A crack team of insommniacs led by Tony Chapman got us in the air before ten o'clock. It was perfect conditions for new newly minted solo pilots Kevin and Andrew to consolidate their flying without the baggage in the rear seat. Dave Gardiner did a first class job of entertaining the two ladies on the one day course - a tough job but some one had to do it. Around one o'clock play was interrupted by newly weds Tom and Sarah taking a flight in the K21. It was all very romantic, but Tom "Brosnan" Gooch quashed all references to the Thomas Crown affair by insisting on flying from the front seat. I have to say they were probably the smartest looking couple ever to fly that aircraft - suits, ties and posh frocks should be compulsory attire from now on. Yours truly then spent most of the afternoon upside down as Darren perfected his loops - cracking fun Gromit!
