We had another first solo today with Andrew Kingdon discovering higher launches and quieter flights. The thermal soaring season is refusing to die so several private gliders came out to play. Thermals were pretty weak and cloud base wasn't much above 2000' but we had fun anyway. At one point there were about ten instructors hanging around but fortunately those that weren't instructing were quite happy to pay for their flying.
