Sunday 17th October

Not a bad day for mid-October. Clear blue skies, brilliant vis and, once it got going, 4-5 knots to be had to 4,000'. Mike Weston did the the club 100 in the Ventus (but had to start the engine to get away, allegedly) while I did Yate-Edgehill in the Mosquito. I am not quite sure were Doug got to, but he was back before seven o clock, which must be a first. Back at the ranch, the instructors seemed to spend most of their time being retrieved from the far end of the field after cable break practice. Thanks to the ground crew for doing a great job.
