After a couple of launches into a good looking sky and then a fairly rapid return I decided it wasn't as good as it looked. Then two gliders from Nympsfield landed and said it wasn't as good as it looked. Must have been true then. Later on we were a bit more successful with 8kts seen on the vario at one point. A reasonably brisk NW wind suggested there might have been some wave influence. Doug as usual was still airborne long after we had packed the kit away.
