Wind and rain stopped play all day on Saturday but the instructor refresher course got their ground stuff out of the way. Sunday was much better with thermals saving the cost of an aerotow for the spinning exercises on the instructor's refresher course. Others managed cross country flights with varying success. Eugene landed out after his engine wouldn't start, but got it going on the ground and was able to take off again with the farmer holding the wing. Doug landed out more conventionally near Theale.
